HOLY SCRAP!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to post that I WON the Idol Contest over at Scrap-Tastic!!!!!!!!!!!

I had such a great time working the challenges over the past 11 weeks and I got 11 new layouts to add to my albums... awesome!!

You'll have to enter it next year! This was my second year... the first I only got to the 2nd round (WOW!), but I was determined to try again! :D YAYYY!!!

We're Home!!!

Ahhh it feels so good to be home! We left Friday the 9th at 3am for a non-stop flight to Denver with a remaining 3 hr. drive ahead of us to Nebraska! It was so cooooold (to us anyway) and we hadn't packed for any chilly weather... we were having heat strokes here in FL so, who would have thought to?!? lol

We had a super-fun time visiting my DH's family, the kids had a blast and even got to see SNOW for the first time! Albeit, it didn't stick... it was still SNOW!

I got to visit their LSS, Scrappin' With Style and crop for a couple of hours. They were so welcoming and the store is really nice!!

As soon as we arrived back home I had to start prepping for a Cricut class and 3 card Make'n Take at a scrapbook store about a hour away that I was teaching with a friend. Everything worked out great, and we had an awesome turnout!

Other than that I just got over a nice little bug I picked up somewhere along my journey this past week.

Oh, I found out while in NE that I made it to the final round in Scrap-Tastic's AI contest! Wheww... what a relief that was! So, tonight is the big reveal! It's been a FUN 11 weeks and I'm so happy with the layouts I was able to create with all the challenges.

A weekly thing for me now, blogging that is. Today was a busy day. Ever since I joined the photography business we have been busy every week with shoots, meetings, marketing and sales calls.... I forgot just how tedious having a business is! At least it's not at home like my first company... I never got out of my pajamas! lol

How was your NSD? Did you do anything special? I spent the day with some of the girls in our scrapbook group. We had lots of raffles and games... it was fun! I only finished one page... geeez!!!

The page was for the round 9 challenge at Scrap-Tastic. We had to use a song title for our title, use the color pink and also had to follow the Prima sketch below...

I am also working on this yummy, yummy project for The Scrappy Gourmet! I love the kit... I can't wait to show you!!

And well, I'm trying to tie up loose ends for our much needed family vacation to Nebraska! We haven't seen DH's family in many years, so it will be a treat for us all. The downfall; no internet, no computers, no scrapping, no shopping...what am I going to do?!? Ahh...sleep!! LOL I think I'll make it through the week!
