Gettin' out the stash!

Finally time to get that stash of pictures from my closet and get to work. I've been neglecting so many and printing out just certain photos for a while now. Last night I found these of my youngest. They're only about a year old (already)!! Boy time sure does fly by! I had this leftover Urban Lily paper and knew it would fit perfect! One last sheet from my scraps...hooray!

Better Pictures!!

I played around with my camera today. The settings really needed to be adjusted, I hadn't been getting the best of photographs lately. I finished a couple more layouts for Scrapbook Central and then worked on some cards. Here's one of my layouts, this is my sweet baby, she's always had some chunky cheeks!



Now doesn't that pic look so much better?!?! :) Makes me happy!

Speaking of happy... I got this via email and had saved it. I ran across it today, I just love it, there's so much truth in it all!

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

Dreamy Dream Street

I got my August kit last week for Scrapbook Central and what a nice surprise to have received the Dream Street Papers kit! Yummy!!

I'm not quite finished with them all but I thought I'd share one of my layouts. The colors are a little off, my camera hasn't been cooperating with me lately. But you can click on the image to see a larger view. My photos aren't as dark as they're showing in the pic either. We had a family photo shoot at the beach by a friend who has a photog business. She did a great job capturing us having fun. And yep, it's another 6x12 layout!

Can't get enough

Of this photo! I just love how well they photograph together!! This is my second time using it and I doubt it's my last!

Honey, we're home!

I'm so glad to be home! On the way back to Florida I thought, "wow, those 3 wks. went by so fast"... but it also seemed like a lifetime after I actually walked in my door and saw my husband! I had a great time visiting with family, seeing my new nephews; Jackson and Caleb, spending nearly every day with my beautiful sister, catching up on some much needed time with my mom, visited with my longtime buddies from the good ol' college days. Oh yeah, and I got all my hair cut off!!



Lots to add to my albums. I took so many photos I had to run to the store and get a new memory card!!

Oh, I came home to an awesome prize package from The Scrappy Gourmet from the Sizzling Summer Cook-Off! Lots of FUN FUN stuff!!!! THANKS Jill and Dee, you both are great! There's a new contest going on, you should go check it out!

I've been making blog rounds today... everyone has been busy. I have a lot to catch up on.

Lastly, today is my 31st Birthday!!!!!!!! I got a nice MP3 player from DH and the kids. Can't wait to play with it! I've decided that I'm just going to be 30 for a while. It wasn't so bad after all. :)
